Role Overview

Seeking a highly motivated and experienced Product Owner/Product Manager to lead our Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) ecosystem. The ideal candidate will have strong functional and product management experience in CLM platforms with a deep understanding of contract management processes across Legal, Procurement, Sales, Compliance, and Finance functions.

The candidate will be responsible for defining the product vision, managing the roadmap, driving adoption, gathering business requirements, and partnering with cross-functional teams to continuously enhance the CLM platform and associated business processes.

 


Key Responsibilities

Product Strategy & Roadmap

  • Define and own the CLM product vision, strategy, and roadmap.
  • Align CLM initiatives with organizational goals and digital transformation objectives.
  • Prioritize features, enhancements, and technical improvements based on business value.
  • Drive continuous innovation and process optimization within the contract management lifecycle.

Stakeholder Management

  • Partner with Legal, Procurement, Sales, Finance, Risk, Compliance, and IT teams to understand business needs.
  • Facilitate workshops and discovery sessions to gather requirements and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams.
  • Present product updates, roadmap priorities, and performance metrics to leadership teams.

Product Delivery

  • Own and manage the product backlog.
  • Create and maintain user stories, epics, and acceptance criteria.
  • Work closely with development and implementation teams to deliver enhancements.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and UAT activities.

 

Required Qualifications

Experience

  • 10+ years of experience in Product Management, Product Ownership, Business Analysis, or CLM implementations.
  • 3+ years of direct experience managing CLM platforms.
  • Experience leading enterprise-wide CLM transformation initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end contract lifecycle management processes.

CLM Platform Experience

Hands-on experience with one or more of the following:

  • Ironclad
  • Conga CLM
  • Icertis
  • DocuSign CLM
  • Sirion
  • Agiloft

Functional Knowledge

Strong understanding of:

  • Contract Authoring
  • Contract Negotiation
  • Approval Workflows
  • eSignature Processes
  • Contract Repository Management
  • Obligation Management
  • Vendor Contracts
  • Sales Contracts
  • Procurement Contracts
  • Contract Compliance and Governance
     

Preferred Skills

  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Experience working with Legal Operations and Procurement teams.
  • Agile Product Management experience.
  • Data-driven decision-making and analytical mindset.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with enterprise applications such as Salesforce, SAP, Oracle, Workday, or ServiceNow is preferred.
