Air System Analysis and Verification Operations team is seeking a Project Lead to oversee technical, schedule and cost performance of F-35 Analysis and/ or Verification scope. Our team is part of the Systems Engineering organization.
Air System Analysis & Verification Operations(ASA&V) team delivers comprehensive analysis, develops custom tools, plans infrastructure, and provides verification support. The Project lead will be responsible for guiding the executing team, working with leadership on priorities, and coordinating with the customer.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinates proposals across the ASA&V organization while working to improve proposal definition, consistency, and submission process.
Define and drive work for each project assigned in support of multiple teams in ASA&V.
Define analytics and analysis needs, tool requirements, and evaluation metrics.
Establish and champion analysis methods, techniques, and best practice procedures.
Coordinate schedules with cross-functional partners, maintaining alignment with overall program milestones.
Identify, assess, and mitigate technical and schedule risks; maintain risk registers and mitigation plans.
Engage customers and stakeholders to capture requirements, provide status updates, and deliver tailored technical solutions.
Drive adoption of innovative analysis methods while ensuring they fit within the system-engineered schedule and budget.
Understand and drive project scope, Conduct Value Stream Mapping, Roadmap creation, PI Planning, PO Sync, Scrum of Scrums, PI Review, Demo, Retrospective, Inspect & Adapt.
Collaborate with product & technical owners to define work scope and flow, Epics/Features descriptions, acceptance criteria, business value or progress.
Track work against delivery milestones and integrate with Earned Value Management (EVM) and the program Cost Assessment Model (CAM).

Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in STEM field (such as Aeronautical, Electrical, System, Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, Computer/Software Engineering, etc.), or equivalent experience and combined education that demonstrated a strong foundation in technical principles and practices.
Experience and/or knowledge of the Systems Engineering Process
Demonstrate Project Management skills and capability
Experience with Agile process (scrum master, product owner, and/ or Jira).
Desired skills
Strong technical leadership experience, leading teams of 4 or more people to plan, execute, and report on projects.
Experience streamlining bid and proposal efforts
Experience and/ or knowledge of the Systems Engineering Process
Strong communications skills
Demonstrated experience in solving complex problems
Demonstrated ability to take a project concept to successful completion
Experience mentoring other team members
Experience leading proposals and developing basis of estimates (BOEs)

Work Schedule Information
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
National Pay Statement
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $128,400 - $226,435. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
Premium Pay Statement
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California, Massachusetts, and New York is $147,700 - $255,990. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
