Job DetailsOverview:
Growing organization seeking a hands-on Controller to lead day-to-day accounting operations while partnering with leadership on financial strategy. This role blends execution (owning the close, reporting, and controls) with forward-looking analysis, budgeting, and process improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own monthly, quarterly, and annual close; prepare GAAP-compliant financial statements
- Deliver financial analysis, variance reporting, and actionable insights to leadership
- Lead budgeting and forecasting processes across departments
- Establish and maintain internal controls; support audit and tax compliance
- Manage and mentor accounting team; drive accountability and development
- Oversee cash flow, AR/AP, and working capital optimization
- Partner cross-functionally to improve cost control and profitability
- Identify and implement process improvements, systems, and ERP enhancements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance (CPA preferred)
- 5-7+ years of experience; 2+ years leadership
- Strong hands-on experience across close, reporting, budgeting, and cash management
- Deep GAAP knowledge; audit exposure preferred
- Advanced Excel + ERP systems experience
- Proven ability to operate in a fast-paced, evolving environment
