Job description
We are looking for a Senior Backend / Platform Engineer with strong expertise in Python-based development, DevOps practices, and Apple ecosystem integrations at Austin / TX.

Key Responsibilities
Design and develop scalable backend services using Python & Django
Build and maintain APIs, asynchronous workflows (Celery), and data pipelines
Manage databases (PostgreSQL) and caching systems (Redis)
Develop and maintain containerized applications using Docker / Docker Compose
Automate deployments and infrastructure using Ansible, Bash, and AWS
Ensure code quality through testing (PyTest) and linting tools
Integrate with enterprise systems like LDAP / AppleConnect / Halo APIs
Collaborate with frontend teams (VueJS) and cross-functional stakeholders

Required Skills
Strong experience in Python, Django, REST APIs
Hands-on experience with Docker, AWS, and CI/CD pipelines
Familiarity with PostgreSQL, Redis, Celery
Experience in automation and scripting (Bash / Shell)
Knowledge of Git-based workflows

Good to Have
Experience with VueJS
Understanding of Apache HTTP Server
Exposure to Apple DevOps or MDM platforms (e.g., JAMF)
