Role : Dot Net - Solution Architect Reinsurance
Location : Warren NJ (Hybrid)
Type : Contract or FTE
The Solution Architect Reinsurance will be responsible for designing and developing APIs and Integrations using the .Net 8+ framework. Frontend development experience with React and Angular is a definite plus. This role requires a strong foundation in programming, a problem-solving mindset, and the ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment. The .Net Developer will contribute to building high-quality and innovative software solutions that meet the needs of our organization.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and understand project requirements.
Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable and secure APIs and Integrations using the .Net framework.
Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following coding standards and best practices.
Debug and resolve software defects and technical issues in a timely manner.
Participate in code reviews to ensure high-quality deliverables and adherence to architectural guidelines.
Develop and maintain technical documentation for code, processes, and systems.
Stay updated with the latest .Net technologies, tools, and industry trends to recommend improvements.
Assist in the integration of third-party systems and APIs as required.
Ensure performance optimization, security, and scalability of applications.
Collaborate with QA teams to ensure thorough testing and successful project delivery.
Maintain GIT repositories hosted on Azure DevOps services.
TECHNICAL QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum of 15 of experience in .Net application development. Experience with both front-end and back-end development is a plus.
Proficiency in C#, ASP.Net, and .Net *8 frameworks.
Strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles and design patterns such as dependency injection and service repository patterns.
Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML & CSS3. JavaScript frameworks such as Angular and React.
Knowledge of relational databases (SQL Server, MySQL) and ORM frameworks like Entity Framework.
Strong understanding with RESTful APIs, Web Services, and Microservices architecture.
Hands-on experience with version control systems such as Git.
Understanding of DevOps practices and tools (e.g., CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
Azure experience is required.
Experience with Git, Azure DevOps Services.
Frontend development experience in Angular and React is a plus.
GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS
Must be able to manage multiple tasks and priorities independently, with efficiency.
Excellent communication, presentation, and organization skills with the ability to communicate effectively across multiple IT team disciplines.
Prior Insurance / Reinsurance or other related industry experience is considered a plus.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
BS CS/CE or equivalent experience.
Certifications in relevant technologies, applicable for this role.
