About the RoleWe are seeking a proactive and technically strong
Infrastructure Security Analyst to join our Infrastructure team. This position plays a critical role in ensuring the security, health, and stability of the firm's core technology platforms, with a specific emphasis on
email threat mitigation,
endpoint protection, and
cross-team security collaboration.
This is a backfill created by an internal promotion into the Information Security Engineering team. While the role sits in Infrastructure, it partners closely with our Information Security team, providing data analysis, threat insights, and actionable recommendations to strengthen our defensive posture.
Key ResponsibilitiesSecurity Monitoring & Threat Mitigation- Monitor, investigate, and mitigate threats-particularly those delivered via email.
- Manage and tune Mimecast policies to ensure optimal message hygiene and threat protection.
- Monitor and respond to alerts from SentinelOne across servers, workstations, and mobile endpoints.
Data Analysis & Reporting- Analyze logs, alerts, and telemetry from multiple security platforms to identify patterns and threats.
- Provide clear, actionable reports and recommendations to infrastructure and security leadership.
Technology Operations- Support and maintain endpoint security tools, data loss prevention (DLP) controls, and device monitoring systems.
- Assist with the firm's transition toward Microsoft Defender for email, endpoint, and DLP use cases.
- Manage and operate Absolute for device tracking, security posture validation, and remote actions.
Cross-Team Collaboration- Work directly with both Infrastructure and InfoSec teams to implement improvements and fix misconfigurations.
- Communicate technical findings to both technical and non-technical audiences across the firm, including leadership.
- Contribute to discussions on improving the firm's overall security posture.
Operational Support- Ensure the availability and performance of security-related infrastructure tools.
- Adapt quickly to changing priorities, responding to urgent issues as needed.
- Assist with audits, compliance initiatives, and security-driven projects.
QualificationsRequired Technical Skills- Hands-on experience with Mimecast or a similar enterprise email security platform.
- Experience with SentinelOne or another next-gen antivirEDR solution.
- Exposure to or experience with Microsoft Defender (email, endpoint, DLP).
- Experience with Absolute or comparable asset-tracking/endpoint management software.
Preferred Experience- Prior experience working in a law firm or professional services environment.
- Familiarity with infrastructure operations, server environments, and enterprise endpoint management.
Soft Skills- Strong curiosity and proactive problem-solving ability.
- Clear communication skills with the ability to tailor explanations to different audiences.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and pivot quickly when needed.
- Comfortable presenting recommendations to infrastructure and security leadership.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $121000.00 - $132000.00/yr.
