Job Title: Scrum Master Workday HRMS (PRISM Project)

Overview
We are seeking a Scrum Master to support the Workday HRMS (PRISM) project, This role will act as a servant leader and Agile coach, enabling cross-functional teams (HR, Payroll, IT) to deliver high-quality Workday solutions while ensuring alignment with Agile best practices and organizational priorities.

Key Responsibilities

Agile Delivery & Facilitation
Facilitate Agile ceremonies: sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, reviews
Ensure adherence to Scrum/Kanban best practices
Track progress using velocity, burndown charts, and Agile metrics
Drive predictable and high-quality sprint delivery

Team Coaching & Enablement

Act as a servant leader, coaching teams on Agile principles
Foster a self-organizing, high-performing team culture
Guide stakeholders on Agile roles and expectations

Impediment & Risk Management

Identify and remove blockers impacting team progress
Manage risks, escalate issues, and resolve cross-team dependencies
Coordinate with HR, IT, and vendors (including Workday partners)

Backlog & Stakeholder Management

Partner with Product Owners to ensure well-groomed backlog
Ensure user stories have clear acceptance criteria
Facilitate communication between technical teams and business stakeholders

Workday Delivery Coordination

Align Agile delivery with Workday HRMS release cycles
Support testing phases (System Testing & UAT)
Ensure enhancements and production support items are prioritized
Continuous Improvement
Lead retrospectives and implement process improvements
Drive team efficiency, innovation, and Agile maturity

Required Skills

2 4+ years of experience as a Scrum Master / Agile Facilitator
Experience with HR systems (Workday HCM preferred)
Strong knowledge of Agile (Scrum, Kanban)
Experience leading cross-functional teams

Preferred

Scrum certifications (CSM, PSM)
Experience with Workday implementation/support
Familiarity with HR processes (hire-to-retire lifecycle)
Tools: Jira, Azure DevOps
Public sector or large enterprise experience
