QA Automation Engineer – Salesforce Platform
Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Salesforce Automation Engineer with hands-on experience using Provar to join our QA team. You’ll be responsible for building and maintaining robust, scalable automated tests to ensure the quality, stability, and performance of our Salesforce applications across multiple environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Provar for Salesforce applications.
Translate business and technical requirements into test plans and scenarios.
Build modular, reusable automation frameworks to support regression and functional testing.
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, Git, and Azure DevOps.
Analyze, debug, and resolve issues in failed test executions.
Support functional and UAT testing with test data creation and workflow validation.
Participate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives).
Maintain documentation for test plans, cases, and automation strategies.
Follow best practices for test design, code maintainability, and test coverage.
Report and triage bugs with developers and verify until resolution.
Participate in proof of concepts to evaluate automation tools and AI tools to advance automation and testing efficiency.
Provide walkthroughs to automation scripts to functional testers and product owners.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor''s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
8 years in QA testing, including 5+ years testing Salesforce via automation.
Salesforce certifications (e.g., Administrator, Platform App Builder, or QA-focused).
Strong scripting skills to extend Provar functionality for automation.
Deep knowledge of Salesforce architecture, including custom objects, workflows, triggers, flows, and integrations.
Experience testing Apex, LWC, Visualforce, and Salesforce Flows.
Proficient in tools like Data Loader, Data Import Wizard, Workbench, and custom Apex scripts for test data management.
Solid understanding of SOQL, REST/SOAP APIs, and data validation.
Proficient in test management tools such as Azure DevOps.
Experience with Git, Jenkins, and CI/CD integration for automation.
Strong troubleshooting skills for script debugging and error resolution.
Familiarity with data privacy, compliance, and test environment management.
Exposure to performance and security testing concepts.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Strong automation skills testing SF Education Cloud and SF Experience Cloud.
Experience testing multi-org Salesforce environments or large enterprise implementations.
Salesforce-related certifications.
Client prior experience preferred.
