Desktop Engineer
Introduction
As a Desktop Engineer, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining the desktop infrastructure within our organization. You will play a crucial role in implementing and supporting various technologies to ensure the smooth operation of our desktop environment.
Responsibilities
- 2 years of experience is required in SCCM and Intune
- Manage and configure desktop operating systems using SCCM (System Center Configuration Manager).
- Implement and maintain Intune imaging solutions for desktop deployment.
- Package applications for deployment across the organization.
- Provide technical support to end-users regarding desktop-related issues.
- Collaborate with other IT teams to troubleshoot and resolve desktop infrastructure problems.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest desktop technologies and best practices.
- Document processes and procedures related to desktop engineering.
Requirements
Required Skills
- Experience with SCCM (System Center Configuration Manager) for desktop packaging and deployment.
- Proficiency in implementing and managing Intune imaging solutions.
- Ability to package applications for deployment using industry-standard tools.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for desktop-related issues.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to document processes accurately.
Preferred Skills
- Certifications in desktop engineering or related fields.
- Experience working in a large enterprise environment.
- Knowledge of scripting languages for automation tasks.
