Data Solution Architect – Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Data Solution Architect to design, develop, and implement scalable data solutions that support business intelligence, analytics, and enterprise data management initiatives. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in data architecture, cloud platforms, databases, and modern data engineering practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end data architecture and enterprise data solutions.
• Define data models, integration strategies, and data governance frameworks.
• Develop scalable data pipelines and data warehouse solutions.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, analysts, and engineering teams to understand data requirements.
• Lead cloud-based data transformation and modernization initiatives.
• Ensure data quality, security, compliance, and performance optimization.
• Support implementation of ETL/ELT processes and big data solutions.
• Provide technical guidance and best practices for data platforms and analytics systems.
• Evaluate and recommend new tools, technologies, and architecture standards.
• Maintain architecture documentation and technical roadmaps.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Engineering, or related field.
• Strong understanding of:
  • Data warehousing concepts
  • Data modeling and database design
  • ETL/ELT frameworks
  • Data governance and security
  • Big data and cloud data platforms
• Hands-on experience with:
  • Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services, or Google Cloud Platform
  • Snowflake
  • Databricks
  • Apache Spark
• Experience with SQL and relational/non-relational databases.
• Knowledge of BI and reporting tools such as Power BI or Tableau.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with data lake and lakehouse architectures.
• Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD, and Infrastructure as Code concepts.
• Understanding of AI/ML data integration workflows.
• Exposure to real-time streaming technologies like Apache Kafka.

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect
• Google Professional Data Engineer
• Snowflake SnowPro Certification
