Key Responsibilities
- Advanced Electrical Diagnostics: Troubleshoot and repair complex automotive electrical problems across gasoline and diesel vehicles.
- Major Engine Repairs: Diagnose engine failures, perform extensive internal engine repairs, and complete engine removal and replacement when necessary.
- Gas & Diesel Diagnostics: Identify and resolve drivability, mechanical, and engine performance concerns.
- Commercial Fleet Repairs: Diagnose and repair Ford commercial trucks, Isuzu, International, Freightliner, and other fleet vehicles.
- Digital Vehicle Inspections: Perform and document inspections using Shopmonkey.
- Independent Troubleshooting: Diagnose complicated issues and complete advanced repairs with minimal supervision.
- General Automotive Repairs: Perform mechanical repairs on light-duty and commercial fleet vehicles.
Qualifications
Required:
- Minimum 5 years of professional automotive repair experience.
- A-Level or Senior Automotive Technician capabilities, including advanced diagnostics and complex repairs.
- Strong electrical diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
- Demonstrated experience performing extensive engine repairs.
- Experience diagnosing and repairing both gasoline and diesel vehicles.
- Comfortable working on commercial fleet trucks and independently completing complex repairs.
Preferred (Not Required):
- Commercial fleet maintenance and repair experience.
- Experience with Ford, Isuzu, International, or Freightliner vehicles.
- Familiarity with Ford IDS and Cummins diagnostic equipment.
- Transmission repair experience.
- ASE certifications.
Compensation & Benefits
- Pay: $40?$45 per flagged hour (flat rate), based on experience.
- Guaranteed Pay: Guaranteed 40 hours of pay.
- Productivity Incentives: Earn an additional $1 per flagged hour for every 5 hours flagged above 100% productivity (45 flagged hours), up to an additional $5 per hour above base pay.
- DVI Upsell Bonus: Earn a 2% bonus on total parts sold from successful upsell opportunities identified during Digital Vehicle Inspections (DVIs).
- Pay Schedule: Weekly.
- Schedule: Monday?Friday, 7 AM?5 PM. No weekends.
