Senior Java Developer

• Seeking an experienced Senior Java Developer to build end-to-end enterprise business solutions for a leading financial services environment.
• The ideal candidate will possess strong frontend and backend development expertise, cloud platform knowledge, and the ability to collaborate effectively with business and technical stakeholders in Agile development environments.

Requirement/Must Have:

• Strong experience in Java/JEE development.
• Experience developing applications using multi-tier architecture.
• Working knowledge of Google Cloud Platform or AWS.
• Strong expertise with Java/JEE, Spring Framework, and Spring Boot.
• Experience developing REST and SOAP web services.
• Experience with Hibernate, SQL, Tomcat, WebSphere, SONAR, AJAX, Jenkins, and Agile methodologies.
• Strong understanding of UML, application architecture, and design patterns.
• Experience with unit testing frameworks such as JUnit.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Experience supporting QA teams with test plans, root cause analysis, and defect resolution.
• Strong knowledge of responsive design and cross-browser web applications.
• Experience creating and working with APIs and web service models.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with onsite and customer teams.

Experience:

• Experience supporting batch processing frameworks and data-intensive applications preferred.
• Exposure to Big Data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, and Hive preferred.
• Experience with cloud services, preferably Google Cloud Platform or AWS.
• Strong experience working in Agile and Scaled Agile development environments.
• Familiarity with REST interfaces, Swagger profiles, and JSON payloads.
• Experience using tools such as Bitbucket, Jira, and Confluence.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain active collaboration with Product Owners to understand business requirements and review solution designs.
• Lead requirement gathering discussions and coordinate development activities for sprint deliverables.
• Perform technical design reviews and code reviews.
• Prototype, develop, and troubleshoot applications across user interface, service, and batch processing layers.
• Conduct peer reviews to ensure code scalability, performance, reuse, and adherence to best practices.
• Participate in technical discussions focused on user experience, design, architecture, and application development.
• Support and enhance batch processing jobs handling large data volumes.
• Demonstrate project features and technical solutions to stakeholders.
• Provide support to QA teams including defect analysis and issue resolution.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and reliable enterprise applications.
