Entry-Level AI Engineer / Data Scientist

We are seeking an Entry-Level AI Engineer / Data Scientist to join our technology team and contribute to data-driven and AI-powered projects. The ideal candidate should have a foundational understanding of Python, data analysis, machine learning, and artificial intelligence. This position is suitable for entry level candidates and candidates starting their careers in AI, Data Science, or Machine Learning.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in collecting, cleaning, processing, and analyzing datasets.

• Perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends and patterns.

• Develop and test basic machine learning models under team guidance.

• Assist with data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation.

• Work with Python libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, and Matplotlib.

• Write SQL queries to retrieve and analyze data.

• Assist in developing AI and Generative AI applications.

• Work with APIs and integrate AI/ML models into applications.

• Explore and apply NLP, LLMs, prompt engineering, and RAG concepts.

• Assist senior team members with model testing, documentation, and deployment.

• Participate in code reviews, team meetings, and Agile development activities.

• Document analysis, experiments, models, and project results.

Required Skills

• Basic to intermediate knowledge of Python.

• Understanding of Data Science and Machine Learning fundamentals.

• Knowledge of SQL and databases.

• Familiarity with Pandas, NumPy, and Scikit-learn.

• Basic understanding of statistics and data analysis.

• Familiarity with data visualization using Matplotlib, Seaborn, or Power BI.

• Basic understanding of Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs).

• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Strong communication and willingness to learn.

Preferred Skills

• Academic or personal projects in AI, Machine Learning, or Data Science.

• Basic knowledge of TensorFlow or PyTorch.

• Familiarity with LangChain, OpenAI APIs, Hugging Face, RAG, or vector databases.

• Basic knowledge of Git/GitHub.

• Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is a plus.

• Internship, coursework, certification, or project experience in AI/Data Science is a plus.

Education

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.

Experience

• 0–1 year of professional experience preferred.

• Entry Level Candidates and entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply.

• Academic projects, internships, certifications, or hands-on training may be considered in place of professional experience.
