Job Details

We are hiring an experienced Estimator to join our energetic team. This role is ideal for a construction professional who takes pride in accurate budgeting and wants to support successful delivery across a diverse set of projects. The Estimator will produce comprehensive cost estimates for construction work including multi-family renovations, restoration, adaptive reuse, and historic preservation. If you're methodical, numbers-driven, and skilled at cost control, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop thorough cost estimates for a range of construction projects.
  • Review drawings and project documents to estimate time, materials, labor, and overall costs.
  • Partner with clients, suppliers, internal teams, and site leads to refine estimates and address issues.
  • Perform special studies to establish standard labor hours and cost data or identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Evaluate whether to fabricate components in-house or purchase based on cost-effectiveness.
  • Produce regular cost and expenditure reports and maintain project documentation throughout the job.
  • Coordinate with engineers, architects, owners, contractors, and subcontractors regarding estimate revisions and adjustments.
  • Prepare estimates to support management planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
  • Generate estimates to assist in vendor and subcontractor selection.

Qualifications:
  • 5+ years' experience in construction estimating or a closely related role.
  • 3+ years' experience estimating multi-family projects
  • Strong skills in cost control, budgeting, and financial analysis.
  • Proficient with industry-standard estimating software and related computer applications.
