Role Overview
A Lead Technical Project Manager is responsible for ensuring customer needs are addressed by the products and platforms developed by the technology studio. This position aligns goals and timelines between product teams and receiving studios to ensure efficient product delivery. The role involves engaging with stakeholders, supporting product and project roadmap planning, and providing coaching to studio teams, with a focus on supporting Production Technology teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Align goals, budgets, and timelines between technology product teams and project teams.
- Engage with stakeholders to support the strategic vision of the technology studio.
- Support product and project roadmap planning.
- Provide coaching and support to technology studio teams.
- Communicate schedules, risks, status, and processes to business and technical audiences.
- Partner with project managers, product managers, and technical leads to coordinate schedules and deliverables.
- Support animations and server farm management.
Required Qualifications
Experience: Seven or more years of experience in a technical project management role, supporting a senior team. A background in both Production and infrastructure technology is required.
Technical Skills: Must have a background in production technology.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience managing servers for VFX Rendering.
- Experience managing up to Director and VP-level management.
Work Environment
This role requires being in person four days a week in Glendale, CA.
