About ASAP Automotive & Transmission
ASAP Automotive & Transmission is seeking an experienced Automotive Technician in Bear, DE, offering $32?$35/hour plus a production bonus and $100,000+ annual earning potential.
Family-owned and operated since 1988, this six-bay independent repair shop offers a Monday?Friday schedule with no weekends.
Technicians perform general automotive repair, maintenance, and diagnostic work using equipment including Hunter Alignment, Snap-on Solus and Verus scan tools, and AutoLeap Digital Vehicle Inspections.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform steering, suspension, brake, maintenance, and general automotive repairs
- Diagnose common drivability and light-to-moderate electrical concerns
- Complete Digital Vehicle Inspections (DVIs) using AutoLeap
- Complete quality automotive repairs efficiently while maintaining productivity
- Communicate vehicle inspection findings and repair recommendations
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop environment
Qualifications
- 4+ years of professional automotive repair experience preferred
- Strong mechanical skills with the ability to complete repairs independently
- Experience with steering, suspension, brakes, maintenance, and general automotive repair
- Basic to intermediate automotive electrical diagnostic ability
- Ability to consistently produce quality work while maintaining productivity
- ASE certifications are a plus
- Digital Vehicle Inspection (DVI) experience preferred
Compensation & Benefits
- $32?$35/hour
- Additional $2/hour production bonus when billing 35+ flagged hours
