Job Description:

Experience Summary Encompass Administrator (5 7 Years)

Experienced Encompass Administrator with over 5 years of hands-on expertise in configuring, customizing, and maintaining the Encompass LOS platform to support retail, wholesale, and correspondent lending channels. Proven track record in supporting mortgage operations by enhancing workflow efficiency, ensuring compliance, and managing system integrations.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Designed and maintained custom input forms, business rules, field triggers, loan programs, and personas to streamline lending workflows.
  • Managed Encompass user roles, access control, and licensing for hundreds of users across departments.
  • Built and deployed automated workflows and custom milestones to improve loan processing turnaround and user productivity.
  • Led the configuration of FHA, VA, and Conventional loan products, including custom fee templates and AUS integrations (DU, LPA).
  • Supported system upgrades, testing, and change management, ensuring minimal disruption during releases.
  • Integrated third-party services (Credit, VOE/VOI, ComplianceEase, MERS, etc.) using Encompass SDK, APIs, and Partner Connect.
  • Developed and maintained custom reports and dashboards for compliance tracking and operational insights.
  • Acted as a liaison between operations, IT, and vendor support teams to troubleshoot issues and gather business requirements.
  • Conducted user training, created SOP documentation, and provided helpdesk support for Encompass-related issues.

  • Successfully migrated legacy SDK-based integrations to Encompass Partner Connect, improving reliability and scalability.
  • Reduced underwriting cycle time by 20% through implementation of automated loan condition workflows.
