Senior Azure Platform Engineer- 7+ yrs- Halifax, Canada- Onsite

Overview: We are seeking a skilled Azure Platform Engineer with deep expertise in Azurecloud services, Kubernetes, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure API Management,Application Gateway and Web Application Firewall practices with 5+ years of industryexperience with same technologies. The ideal candidate will have experience working withAzure services, including Kubernetes, API management, monitoring tools, and various cloudinfrastructure services. You will be responsible for providing technical support, managingcloud-based systems, troubleshooting complex issues, and ensuring smooth operation andoptimization of services within the Azure ecosystem.Key Responsibilities:? Provide technical support for Azure-based cloud services, including AzureKubernetes Service (AKS), Azure API Management, Application Gateway, WebApplication Firewall, Azure Monitor with KQL queries? Manage and troubleshoot various Azure services such as Event Hub, Azure SQL,Application Insights, Virtual Networks and WAF.? Work with Kubernetes environments, troubleshoot deployments, utilizing HelmCharts, check resource utilization and managing GitOps processes.? Utilize Terraform to automate cloud infrastructure provisioning, configuration, andmanagement.? Troubleshoot and resolve issues in MongoDB and Microsoft SQL Server databases,ensuring high availability and performance.? Monitor cloud infrastructure health using Grafana and Azure Monitor, providinginsights and proactive alerts.? Collaborate with development teams using Azure DevOps for version control (Repos)and CI/CD pipelines, ensuring efficient deployment and integration processes.? Create and maintain detailed documentation on cloud infrastructure, deployments,runbooks and operational procedures.? Provide root-cause analysis for technical incidents, propose and implement correctiveactions to prevent recurrence.? Continuously optimize cloud services and infrastructure to improve performance,scalability, and security.Required Skills & Qualifications:? Azure Certification (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator) withhands-on experience in Azure services such as AKS, API Management, ApplicationGateway, WAF, and others.
