NEED: Oracle CPQ Architect

Job Description/ Responsibilities
Architecture & strategy
Target-state architecture - Define and own the CPQ and quote-to-cash architecture across configuration, pricing, ABO/subscriptions, order orchestration, and integration.
Roadmap ownership - Set the multi-release technical roadmap, including the path toward Oracle CPQ running in Fusion and the migration away from middleware-heavy integration patterns.
Decision authority - Make and document foundational and critical design decisions (KDDs) - pricing architecture, UI framework, integration patterns, data and asset models.
Standards & governance - Establish architecture principles, reference patterns, reusable assets, and review gates; chair architecture review boards.
Integration & platform
Integration architecture - Own CPQ Fusion Order Management and Subscription Management design - REST, integration events, OIC orchestration, and native (BMF) patterns - and decide build-vs-native trade-offs.
Non-functional ownership - Ensure scalability, performance, security, resilience, and identity (OCI IAM) across the platform.
Emerging capabilities - Evaluate and guide adoption of AI-assisted and agentic capabilities in quoting and order automation, keeping commercially sensitive logic governed and auditable.
Leadership & delivery
Technical leadership - Lead and mentor solution architects, leads, and senior consultants; set the technical bar across workstreams.
Stakeholder management - Act as senior technical advisor to client executives, product owners, and program leadership; translate business strategy into architecture.
Risk & quality - Own architectural risk (RAID), technical debt strategy, upgrade readiness, and delivery quality across the program.
Pre-sales / advisory - Contribute to solution shaping, estimation, and proposals where required.
Skills :
Oracle CPQ across Commerce/Standard Process, configuration & BOM rules, the pricing engine, ABO and subscription lifecycle, and BML/BMQL.
Quote-to-cash and quote-to-order architecture spanning CPQ, Order Management, Subscription Management, and billing.
Integration architecture - REST APIs, integration events, event-driven and middleware (OIC) patterns, and native platform integration.
Data and asset modeling for complex, multi-level, multi-quantity structures and recurring-revenue scenarios.
Non-functional architecture - performance, scalability, security, identity, and resilience at enterprise scale
