We are seeking a skilled Cloud Engineer with strong hands-on experience in AWS cloud infrastructure, landing zone architecture, workload migration, infrastructure as code, and secure enterprise cloud operations. This role will be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting cloud environments across AWS and Azure, with a strong focus on AWS workload migrations, account onboarding into Landing Zone Accelerator environments, CI/CD automation, and cloud security best practices.
The candidate should have deep experience with core AWS services, hub-and-spoke network models, infrastructure automation using Terraform and CloudFormation, YAML-based deployment pipelines, and enterprise cloud platforms such as SageMaker, Redshift, and AWS Identity Center.
Key Responsibilities
Design, deploy, and manage scalable, secure, and resilient cloud infrastructure primarily in AWS and also in Azure
Support Landing Zone Accelerator (LZA) implementations and ongoing operations in AWS and Azure environments
Lead and support AWS workload migrations from legacy or existing environments into modern cloud architectures
Plan and execute AWS account migration and onboarding into Landing Zone Accelerator environments
Design and support hub-and-spoke network architectures for enterprise cloud environments
Build, maintain, and improve infrastructure as code using Terraform, CloudFormation, and YAML
Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and related automation tools
Support SageMaker infrastructure setup, configuration, and operational management
Plan and support Redshift migration initiatives, including infrastructure design, deployment, and optimization
Configure and manage AWS Identity Center to support secure access, role-based access control, and federation requirements
Implement and enforce cloud security best practices across networking, IAM, logging, encryption, monitoring, and compliance
Collaborate with security, networking, DevOps, and application teams to ensure cloud solutions align with enterprise standards
Troubleshoot infrastructure, deployment, access, and migration issues across cloud platforms
Create and maintain technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and operational runbooks

Job Description
Support the implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of cloud services and products. Create and maintain operational process and general knowledge documentation relating to cloud product deployments. Deploy and administer automated performance and quality monitors.
Implement and execute system automation scripts for cloud infrastructure, cloud resources and system configuration. Support migrations of on-premise products to cloud. Interface between application development, application support and infrastructure support teams. Participate in planning, implementation, and growth of our Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Microsoft Azure infrastructure.
Administer access authentication methods and role-based access. Apply access roles and restrictions to cloud resources according to infrastructure and security policy. Ensure that all systems comply with security and vulnerability standards.
Inform other teams on cloud-based initiatives, providing associated training or documentation when necessary. Ensure application performance, uptime, and scale, maintaining high standards for code quality and thoughtful design. Troubleshoot issues, identify root causes, fix and document problems, and implement preventive measures. Participate in software development lifecycle for cloud solutions, including planning, requirements, development, testing, and quality assurance. At the direction of Sr Cloud Engineers or architects, implement technical efforts to design, build, and deploy cloud applications and resources.
Participate in on-call rotation and provide hands-on support during emergencies, outages, and service transitions. Ability to write technical documentation (platform architecture, strategy, engineering) and work on multiple concurrent complex projects.
Qualifications
Associate Degree in computer science, math, engineering, or related field required.
Must have 4 years in Windows and Linux server or infrastructure system administration in a large-scale environment. Scripting skills in Powershell, Bash and Python are preferred.
Experience with version control repositories, configuration management frameworks and CI/CD pipeline automation tools is a plus.
Knowledge of networking fundamentals to support Cloud Infrastructure, Cloud Networks, IaaS, SaaS, PaaS.
One of more of the following certifications are preferred:

Azure Fundamentals
