About the Role

Our client is a world-leading orthopaedics manufacturer with a significant US manufacturing footprint. The Raynham, MA site produces joint reconstruction implants and surgical instruments in a strictly regulated environment (ISO 13485 / FDA QSR 820). This is a pivotal hire for an operationally demanding, high-visibility site.

 

The company is currently in an exciting period of transition — the orthopaedics division is being established as a fully independent entity, creating significant career opportunity for the right hire.

 

Key Responsibilities

        Lead and develop a manufacturing team to meet production targets and quality standards

        Collaborate cross-functionally to align production plans with business goals

        Monitor processes; identify and implement efficiency and waste-reduction improvements

        Ensure full compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements

        Develop and deliver training programs to build team capability

        Oversee production schedules, budgets, and resource allocation

        Drive continuous improvement initiatives across production processes

Education

Bachelor''s in Engineering, Manufacturing or related field

Experience

• 6+ years relevant professional experience

• Proven people management & team leadership

• Project management fundamentals

• Strong communication & problem-solving skills

• Fully onsite — Raynham, MA (non-negotiable)

Education

Master''s degree (MBA, Engineering or Operations)

Experience

• Medical devices / healthcare manufacturing

• FDA QSR 820 regulated environment

• ISO 13485 knowledge

• Capacity planning & financial competence

• Lean manufacturing / process excellence

• Lean Six Sigma / Green or Black Belt certification
