Job Title: Finance Procurement Operations Business Partner
Location: Los Angeles, CA
Client: Major Entertainment Company
Duration: 12 Month Contract
Overview:
Seeking a Finance Business Partner with expertise in Procurement-to-Pay (P2P) operations, accounting, and process improvement to support Product and Engineering teams. The role focuses on optimizing finance workflows, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and collaborating across cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end P2P procurement activities, including purchase orders, supplier management, contracts, invoices, and change orders.
- Support month-end close by owning accruals and analyzing financial variances.
- Ensure accurate expense coding, budget tracking, and financial reporting.
- Execute and improve automated billing integrations for high-volume supplier spend.
- Partner with Product, Engineering, and Accounts Payable teams to optimize procurement and payment workflows.
- Identify process improvement opportunities and drive automation initiatives.
- Provide financial support, reporting, and ad hoc analysis as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor''s degree in Finance or Accounting (MBA/CPA preferred).
- 3+ years of finance/accounting experience with general ledger knowledge.
- Strong understanding of P2P processes, purchase orders, accruals, prepaids, and CAPEX vs. OPEX.
- Experience with Workday Financials and Tableau.
- Proven ability to manage high-volume transactions, billing integrations, and workflow optimization.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working with global teams or shared service centers is preferred.
- Entertainment industry experience is a plus.
