Network Services Architect (Routing/Switching/Cloud/Security/Wireless Networking/Load Balancing)Downtown Dallas (Hybrid)Direct HireBase + Bonus + Full Benefits What you ll do- Own the enterprise network services architecture and roadmap across data centers, Azure/AWS cloud, and hybrid environments.
- Lead modernization initiatives focused on scalability, resiliency, security, and operational efficiency.
- Standardize network connectivity across business units/acquisitions, including migration toward Palo Alto SD WAN.
- Design and govern standards for routing & switching, WAN/SD WAN, cloud networking, segmentation, and firewall architecture.
- Architect and guide engineering for:
- Palo Alto / Fortinet firewalls (security controls, segmentation, cloud connectivity)
- NetScaler / Citrix ADC (load balancing / application delivery)
- Voice/video services including SIP/VoIP and conferencing platforms (Teams/Zoom/Crestron)
- Drive automation/orchestration, lifecycle management (upgrades/patching/capacity/DR), and operational readiness.
- Serve as the senior interface across stakeholders, internal teams, and a large MSP, providing governance, design review/approval, and service delivery oversight (KPIs/SLAs).
- Ensure designs and operations meet security, compliance, and audit requirements; support incident response and root-cause analysis with strong documentation/runbooks.
What you bring- 10+ years enterprise network engineering/architecture experience with strong routing/switching, wireless networking, hybrid networking, and production operations.
- Cloud networking experience in Azure and AWS (hybrid connectivity, segmentation, security controls).
- Hands-on depth with Palo Alto, Fortinet, SD WAN, and NetScaler/Citrix ADC (load balancing).
- Experience leading in large MSP-supported environments; 3+ years in a leadership capacity.
- Strong stakeholder communication and comfort in regulated environments (financial services/banking/insurance a plus).
- Certifications preferred: CCNP/CCIE/CCDE/CCAr (Azure architect/network certs are a plus); ITIL familiarity helpful.
