Job Description
Responsible for supporting the development, maintenance, and ongoing enhancement of the Bank's corporate website and digital properties. This role performs hands-on web development, content updates, testing, and support activities under the guidance of senior developers, product managers, and business stakeholders. The Web Developer applies established standards to ensure website content is compliant, accessible, secure, and aligned with brand and regulatory requirements.
Develop, update, and maintain website pages and components using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript in accordance with established development and governance standards.
Translate design mockups and content requirements into functional, responsive web pages with limited supervision.
Collaborate with the Website Product Manager and internal stakeholders to ensure website content and messaging are accurate, timely, and aligned with business needs.
Ensure website pages comply with brand guidelines, content standards, regulatory requirements, and governance policies, including ADA/WCAG accessibility standards.
Test new and updated website content across browsers and devices prior to deployment.
Follow established version control, change management, and deployment processes.
Assist with documenting technical changes and maintaining existing development standards.
Provide day-to-day support for the Bank's website, Content Management System (CMS), and Digital Asset Management (DAM) platforms.
Troubleshoot website issues, defects, and content errors; escalate complex or systemic issues to senior developers or vendors as appropriate.
Support internal users and content publishers with CMS usage, content updates, and best practices.
Assist with routine system maintenance, testing, and implementation of upgrades or enhancements as directed.
Participate in after-hours or on-call support as required.
Assist with gathering and documenting business and technical requirements for website enhancements and projects.
Support project activities including testing, content validation, deployment coordination, and post-launch verification.
Communicate task status, risks, and issues to project leads or senior team members.
Stay current on web development best practices, accessibility requirements, and technical SEO fundamentals.
Apply responsive design principles to enhance customer digital experiences.
Participate in training, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement initiatives to expand technical and platform expertise overtime.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Honolulu, HI.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $45.00/hr.
