Salesforce Tech Lead

Location: JUNO BEACH, Florida or Houston, TX (Onsite)

Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled and innovative Salesforce Tech Lead to join an IT Salesforce team. This role sits at the intersection of enterprise integration architecture, data engineering, and AI-augmented delivery. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, agile environment, leads with technical depth, and embraces Generative AI and Agentic AI tools as a core part of their daily engineering workflow.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead end-to-end Salesforce solution design across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and custom platform applications, ensuring scalability, security, and governance.
  • Define and enforce coding standards, design patterns, and DevOps best practices (CI/CD via Salesforce DX, Git, and pipeline tooling).
  • Conduct architecture reviews, code reviews, and technical grooming sessions to maintain platform health and delivery quality.
  • Design and implement MuleSoft-based integrations connecting Salesforce to enterprise systems.
  • Build and maintain REST/SOAP APIs, Platform Events, CDC (Change Data Capture), and middleware orchestration patterns for real-time and batch integration scenarios.
  • Own and drive Salesforce data architecture including data modeling, object relationships, and schema governance.
  • Lead data migration efforts from legacy platforms to Salesforce, including transformation logic, data validation, and cutover planning.
  • Leverage Agentic AI platforms for accelerated story creation, code generation, test automation, and design documentation.
  • Ensure solutions adhere to NERC, utility-sector compliance standards, and audit-ready documentation requirements.
  • Lead and mentor a team of Salesforce developers, providing day-to-day technical direction.
Required Qualifications

Experience: 5+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience with demonstrated technical leadership.

Technical Skills:
  • Deep expertise in Apex, LWC, Flows, and SOQL/SOSL.
  • Strong experience with MuleSoft or equivalent integration platforms (REST APIs, event-driven architecture).
  • Proven track record in data migration projects, including ETL design and transformation logic.
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce DX, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Active daily use of Generative AI and/or Agentic AI tools in a software delivery context.
  • Experience in Experience Cloud / Community portals and Service Cloud case management.


Certifications: Salesforce Platform Developer II is required. Integration Architecture Designer or Data Architecture Designer is strongly preferred.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in regulated utility, energy, or infrastructure sectors.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce Data Cloud, Einstein Analytics, or Agentforce.
  • Hands-on experience with Windsurf, Devin, or similar Agentic AI coding platforms.
  • Knowledge of enterprise content management systems.
  • Background in multi-vendor offshore/nearshore delivery models.
  • MuleSoft Certified Developer or Integration Associate certification.
