Job Description: 

Key Responsibilities

·         Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end data pipelines using Python and PySpark

·         Build and optimize ETL/ELT workflows in Azure Databricks

·         Configure and manage Databricks clusters (autoscaling, performance tuning, governance)

·         Develop data integration and orchestration solutions using Azure services

·         Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions

·         Implement secure data access using Azure AD, Managed Identities, and Service Principals

·         Develop Infrastructure-as-Code (ARM templates) for consistent deployments

·         Configure and manage Azure components including Storage Accounts, Synapse, Key Vault, VMSS, Function Apps / Web Apps, Log Analytics Workspace, Container Apps / Container Instances

·         Work with networking/security teams to implement secure Azure architectures

·         Implement monitoring, alerting, and cost optimization strategies

·         Manage source control and CI/CD using GitLab & Azure DevOps

·         Follow Agile/Scrum practices (sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives)

·         Ensure compliance with data governance, lineage, and security standards

·         Provide production support and on-call support for deployments and incidents

Must Skills:

·         Python and PySpark

·         SQL for analytics and ETL/ELT processes

·         data pipelines in Azure

·         Azure Databricks Cluster management, Job scheduling, Workspace governance

·         container services (Azure Container Apps, Container Instances)

·         Azure networking and secure integrations

·         Infrastructure as Code (ARM templates)

·         GitLab and Azure DevOps (CI/CD pipelines)

·         Agile/Scrum environments
