Information Technology Expert
Location: Sacramento, CA
Duration: Multi-Year Contract
Position Description
We are seeking an information technology expert to support development, modernization, accessibility remediation, configuration, and operational support activities for enterprise web applications and SaaS platforms.
The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience supporting public-facing web applications, front-end technologies, accessibility standards, and application modernization initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and support web applications and SaaS platforms.
Perform accessibility remediation and compliance testing activities.
Support front-end development and UI enhancements.
Troubleshoot application issues and support production environments.
Coordinate application integrations and system enhancements.
Support testing, deployment, and release activities.
Prepare technical documentation and provide end-user support.
Required Qualifications
5+ years of web application development/support experience.
Strong experience with JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS.
Experience supporting accessibility standards such as WCAG/ADA/Section 508.
Experience supporting SaaS or enterprise web applications.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting public-sector or transportation systems.
Experience with application modernization initiatives.
Exposure to GIS-enabled web applications.
