Position Description: Software Development Engineer Conversions
The Software Development Engineer Conversions and Implementations job is critical in the delivery of a quality data conversion and implementation experience for new banks and banks acquisition and merger implementation projects.
You will work in a team environment with peer programmers and a business analyst team in defining and implementing data conversion work products. Given the diverse Client financial products you will constantly be exposed to new implementation scenarios and an environment that promotes out of the box thinking to solve unique business problems.
If you are an individual with technical savvy and a deep knowledge of RPG programming, relishes challenges and enjoy working in a fast paced environment to meet quality project work products within agreed time frames, you will find this position a good fit.
Basic Qualifications for Consideration:
- 4 years minimum experience working with RPG programming language and its derivatives
- 4 years minimum experience with the IBM system i architecture
- 4 years minimum experience working on Banking Software programming.
Preferred Skills, Experience, and Education:
- BS in Computer Science
- Experience with the Fiserv Signature suite of products
Travel required: No
Weekend work required: Yes, weekend work is required for client conversion projects milestones events such as mock conversion and live conversion.
