TEKsystems is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Project-Based IT Hardware Installation Technician to join our team for a 2 month contract. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the physical installation, configuration, and testing of IT equipment at client sites. This role requires a strong technical aptitude, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team to meet project deadlines. This will be supporting a TEKsystems client located on Kiawah Island, SC and is 100% onsite.
Candidates within 30 minutes from Kiawah will be prioritized.
This contract is only 2 months in duration.
Responsibilities
Deploy computers utilizing deployment software.
Installation/replacement of computers and connecting any peripherals.
Documentation of replacement computers for inventory purposes
Physical inventory of hardware
Requirements
Experience in IT support, hardware installation, or a related technical field
Basic to advanced understanding of computer hardware components, operating systems, and diagnostic tools.
Ability to work well under limited supervision.
Have a valid driver license.
Ability to lift to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks associated with hardware installation.

This is a Contract position based out of Johns Island, SC.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr.
