Senior / Lead Developer
Location: 50 Hudson Yards, NYC
Hybrid- 3 days in office
Long-term Contract on W2 with potential to be a full-time later on with the client
Summary of Position:
We are seeking motivated and proactive Software Engineers with domain expertise in Fixed Income, Interest Rate, Credit, Loans, and/or Equity Derivatives to design, develop, and maintain a foundational data hub. This framework will enable seamless, event-driven communication and data streaming to support near real-time risk reporting, analytics, and business reporting. The role entails:
- Technical Design, analysis, and support of the foundational data hub across CIB Technology.
- Integrate the trading systems and reference data set for support of near real-time P&L, Risk, and Regulatory reporting
- Use of integration products to customize or generate solutions that facilitate seamless communication between systems, ensuring high reliability and performance.
Qualifications:
- 13+ years of strong Java and Python development experience with experience in real-time messaging platforms such as Kafka, MQ Series, RabbitMQ, or TIBCO.
- Hands-on experience with Vendor trading systems such as Calypso, Imagine, ION / Wall St Systems, Bloomberg, and LoanIQ
- Expertise in Risk reporting, risk sensitivities, and option Greeks.
- Expertise in P&L Reporting and P&L Attribution
- Familiarity with event-driven architecture, distributed systems, and fault tolerance principles.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and microservices architecture is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
