  • Develop, execute, and revise test cases and procedures for tactical data link systems, radios, interfaces, hardware, and software.
  • Conduct laboratory testing of existing and emerging capabilities to validate system functionality, interface requirements, and interoperability.
  • Evaluate hardware and software releases, verify corrective actions, and assess capabilities for future integration and fielding.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues using data-capture and packet-analysis tools, such as Wireshark, and identify root causes and potential solutions.
  • Review problem reports, document test findings, and assess impacts to applicable Army documentation.
  • Prepare test reports, technical findings, and recommendations for engineering stakeholders.
  • Maintain spectrum-management records and develop procedures, user guides, and training materials.

  • Knowledge of Army and NATO tactical data link standards and interoperability requirements.
  • Experience conducting formal interface and interoperability testing and integrating hardware and software in simulation environments.
  • Knowledge of RF spectrum analysis, propagation, interference analysis, frequency deconfliction, and electromagnetic spectrum coordination.
