Job Summary
Northwestern University is looking for a hands-on Microsoft Entra ID Engineer to support enterprise identity infrastructure, Active Directory modernization, and Microsoft 365 identity services. This is a technical engineering role focused on Microsoft identity technologies and hybrid environments—not IAM governance or architecture.

- Administer and maintain Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) and Active Directory environments.
- Configure and manage Conditional Access, Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and Single Sign-On (SSO).
- Support Hybrid Identity using Microsoft Entra Connect (Azure AD Connect).
- Assist with Active Directory migration and modernization initiatives.
- Troubleshoot authentication, synchronization, and identity-related issues.
- Support Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Teams identity integration.
- Collaborate with Security Operations and Infrastructure teams.
- Develop PowerShell scripts for administration and automation.
