Position Overview
We are seeking a Senior BA / QA Analyst to lead business requirements gathering and quality assurance efforts for complex investment performance reporting initiatives within an asset management environment.
The ideal candidate will possess strong functional expertise in business analysis, testing, portfolio reporting systems, and investment operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead requirements gathering and process analysis across portfolio accounting and performance reporting workstreams
- Own functional design documentation, traceability matrices, and test strategies
- Drive QA planning and execution including integration, regression, and UAT testing
- Partner with platform vendors including Addepar, Black Diamond, and First Rate
- Validate system configurations and support issue resolution
- Act as subject matter expert for business stakeholders
- Guide junior BA and QA team members
- Support end-to-end testing and production readiness activities
Required Qualifications
- 14+ years of overall experience
- 6–10 years of US BA/QA experience
- 3+ years in asset management or investment operations
- Strong expertise with Addepar, Black Diamond, or First Rate platforms
- Strong understanding of portfolio accounting and client reporting workflows
- Knowledge of investment performance reporting and GIPS standards preferred
- Experience leading UAT and multi-system testing environments
- Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills
