Oracle APEX Developer

Location: Denver, CO (Onsite 3 days per month)
Duration: 8Month Contract

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Oracle APEX Developer with strong PL/SQL skills to support the design, development, and enhancement of custom Oracle APEX applications. This role involves handson development, production support, and close collaboration with business analysts and QA teams. Candidates must be able to work independently and communicate effectively with technical and nontechnical stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and support custom applications built in Oracle APEX.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues across Oracle APEX, PL/SQL, and Oracle eBusiness modules (primarily AR).
Collaborate with Business Analysts and end users to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Participate in architectural discussions, code reviews, and design sessions.
Work with QA teams on test case creation, release activities, and defect resolution.
Provide estimates, documentation, and status updates to Project Managers and Application Managers.
Prepare technical documentation and present technical concepts when needed.
Offer production support as required.

Required Skills & Experience

Proven experience developing custom applications in Oracle APEX (Application Express).
Strong proficiency in Oracle PL/SQL.
5 7+ years of experience in an Application Developer role with increasing responsibility across design, development, and production support.
Experience enhancing and supporting packaged or purchased applications.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments simultaneously.

Preferred Skills

Familiarity with Oracle eBusiness Suite (GL, AR, Advanced Pricing) is helpful but not required.
Experience with endtoend application lifecycle processes, including requirements gathering, testing, and deployment.
