Project Manager (CMO Procurement & Implementation)

Title: Project Manager (CMO Procurement & Implementation) Location: On-Site (Atlanta, GA) 2 days/week LOCAL CANDIDATES REQUIRED

Mode of Interview: IN-PERSON INTERVIEWS ONLY

This is a full-time contract role supporting large-scale Medicaid modernization and system transformation efforts. The selected candidate must be local to Georgia and able to work on-site up to two days per week, with occasional meetings at locations other than headquarters (2 MLK, Atlanta, GA).

Key Responsibilities

• Support Senior Project Manager with assigned project management tasks
• Manage day-to-day project activities across multiple workstreams
• Track and report on project milestones, risks, dependencies, and outcomes
• Develop detailed project plans, schedules, roadmaps, and estimates
• Coordinate across technology, operations, and business stakeholders
• Support vendor selection and proposal evaluation
• Assist with requirements documentation, reports, presentations, and SOWs
• Monitor project scope, schedule, budget, quality, risks, and issues
• Act as a quality control checkpoint for deliverables
• Collaborate on enterprise initiatives including MES transformation, data governance, and business process automation

Required / Preferred Qualifications

• PMP Certification (Required)
• 3+ years managing complex project procurements and implementations
• Experience with SDLC methodologies (Agile, Iterative, Waterfall)
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Proven ability to deliver projects on time and within budget
• Experience working in large, multi-stakeholder environments
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365, MS Project, Visio, and PM tools
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and timelines

Education

• BA/BS in Management, Health Administration, Business Information Systems, IT, Computer Science, or related field (preferred)
