Summary
This is Anita from SLIGO. We have an urgent requirement for Business Analyst with ACCELA experience - REMOTE position with our client.
Note: NYC Department of Buildings experience is must
Location: Remote
Client is seeking an experienced Business Analyst with strong ACCELA expertise to support the Department of Buildings. The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and external vendors to enhance, implement, and support ACCELA-based permitting, licensing, and inspection systems.
- 6+ years of experience as a Business Analyst
- Hands-on ACCELA experience (Civic Platform) Mandatory
- Strong understanding of Department of Buildings - Mandatory
- Experience with workflow configuration, expressions, scripts, and reports in ACCELA
- Proficiency in requirements gathering, documentation, and stakeholder management
- Experience working in Agile and/or Waterfall environments
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a liaison between DOB business users and technical teams for ACCELA Civic Platform
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements, functional requirements, and workflows
- Support ACCELA configuration, enhancements, integrations, and upgrades
- Conduct process mapping for permitting, inspections, plan review, licensing, and enforcement modules
- Prepare BRDs, FRDs, user stories, use cases, and workflow diagrams
- Support UAT planning and execution, defect tracking, and user sign-off
- Coordinate with vendors and internal IT teams on system issues and enhancements
- Ensure solutions align with government regulations, compliance, and DOB policies
- Provide user training, documentation, and post-implementation support
