We are looking for an experienced Identity & Access Management (IAM) Engineer to lead the engineering, operation, and continuous improvement of our enterprise identity platforms across hybrid cloud and on-premises environments. This role focuses on platform ownership, architecture, and complex integrations that strengthen security, enhance compliance, and support business objectives.

This job is based in Cluj-Napoca, Romania. We provide a flexible working schedule with the option of working hybrid.

Key Responsibilities of the role:
  • Serve as technical owner for Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), and SailPoint IdentityNow/IdentityIQ.
  • Design, implement, and maintain identity lifecycle management, access models, and governance controls.
  • Configure and support connectors, provisioning workflows, certifications, and access policies.
  • Implement and manage SSO, federation, MFA, and Conditional Access solutions.
  • Troubleshoot complex identity, authentication, and provisioning issues across integrated systems.
  • Partner with security, infrastructure, application, and compliance teams to deliver secure IAM solutions.
  • Support IAM upgrades, enhancements, and modernization initiatives.
  • Ensure IAM controls align with internal security standards and audit requirements.

Required Qualifications and Experience:
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience supporting enterprise IAM platforms in hybrid environments.
  • Strong expertise in:
    • Active Directory (architecture, LDAP, trusts, service accounts, GPOs, DNS).
    • Microsoft Entra ID / Azure AD (Conditional Access, MFA, hybrid identity, app registrations) within the Microsoft ecosystem.
  • Strong understanding of identity governance principles (lifecycle management, access reviews, RBAC/ABAC).
  • Experience with IAM protocols including LDAP, SAML, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, SCIM, and FIDO.
  • Scripting and automation experience (PowerShell or similar).
  • Experience designing and supporting SSO and access governance solutions.
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Preferred Qualifications and Experience:
  • Experience with SailPoint IdentityNow or IdentityIQ, or similar identity governance platforms.
  • Experience integrating IAM/IGA platforms with HR systems and enterprise applications.
  • Experience supporting large-scale IAM implementations or modernization initiatives.
