Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Power BI Developer with strong expertise in Business Intelligence, Data Warehousing, and Enterprise Reporting solutions. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience developing Power BI dashboards, reports, and analytical solutions while working closely with business stakeholders in a fast-paced enterprise environment.
Candidates with recent experience in the Financial Services or Banking domain are highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain interactive reports, dashboards, and ad-hoc analytical solutions using Power BI.
- Collaborate with business users and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Develop and optimize data models using Power Query and Power Pivot.
- Create complex DAX calculations, measures, and KPIs to support business reporting needs.
- Build and maintain Paginated Reports using Power BI Report Builder.
- Work with SQL Server and other relational databases to extract, transform, and analyze data.
- Troubleshoot reporting issues and provide timely resolutions.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, and support.
- Ensure data accuracy, performance optimization, and reporting best practices.
Required Skills & Experience
- 7+ years of experience in Data Warehousing, Business Intelligence, Analytics, and Reporting solutions.
- Strong expertise in Power BI development, including dashboard and report creation.
- Advanced knowledge of Power Query, Power Pivot, and data modeling concepts.
- Strong proficiency in DAX development and optimization.
- Experience with Power BI Report Builder and Paginated Reports.
- Strong SQL skills with expertise in SQL Server or similar relational database platforms.
- Experience with relational and multidimensional (OLAP) data modeling.
- Ability to analyze business requirements and recommend effective reporting solutions.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Data Flows.
- Knowledge of PBRS (Power BI Report Server).
- Familiarity with Power ON.
- Experience working with Snowflake Data Warehouse.
- Understanding of Fixed Income, Equities, and Derivatives business domains.
- Experience working in enterprise-scale financial environments.
