Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced IT Procurement Manager to lead strategic sourcing, category management, and contract governance for multiple IT spend categories. This role supports enterprise procurement goals by driving cost savings, supplier optimization, contract compliance, and stakeholder alignment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead IT procurement strategy, category planning, and sourcing initiatives.
  • Manage contract approval lifecycle from creation to award.
  • Oversee multimillion-dollar contract spend and approval (up to $10M).
  • Conduct spend analysis, benchmarking, and business case development.
  • Build negotiation strategies and manage supplier performance via SLAs.
  • Lead cross-functional sourcing teams and supervise category leaders/specialists.
  • Improve procurement processes and deliver strong client experience.

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor s degree or equivalent experience.
  • 8+ years in sourcing, procurement, or related fields.
  • Strong leadership and ability to manage cross-functional teams.
  • Experience in contract management, strategic sourcing & problem resolution.

Preferred:
  • MBA or advanced degree.
  • Utility industry or project management experience.
  • Category management & procurement transformation experience.
  • 2 3 years supervisory experience; SAP/SRM knowledge.

Compensation:

The annual starting salary for this position is between $140,000 $207,000 annually.
