Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Product Owner to serve as a dedicated member of a Scrum Team, representing business and user needs while ensuring high-quality software delivery. This role is responsible for translating business and architectural vision into well-defined, prioritized backlog items and delivering value through lean, iterative Agile practices. The Product Owner will collaborate closely with Product Managers, business stakeholders, technology teams, and operations leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the voice of the customer and business within the Scrum Team, ensuring delivered solutions align with business objectives and user requirements.
• Partner with business, technology, and architecture stakeholders to translate vision into actionable features and user stories.
• Drive story elaboration and refinement, maintaining at least two sprints of ready user stories.
• Define clear and testable acceptance criteria for all user stories.
• Own and prioritize the team backlog to maximize business value and achieve sprint and release goals.
• Ensure the backlog is visible, transparent, and well understood by all team members.
• Review and accept completed user stories during the sprint based on defined acceptance criteria.
• Ensure the Scrum Team fully understands backlog items to the level required for successful delivery.
• Actively participate in all Scrum ceremonies, including:
• Sprint Planning
• Daily Stand-ups
• Sprint Reviews
• Sprint Retrospectives
• Gather feedback from sprint demos and incorporate learnings into the backlog and upcoming iterations.
• Collaborate with Product Managers and other Product Owners to coordinate cross-team feature development when needed.

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience functioning solely as a Product Owner for Scrum Teams (not a hybrid role).
• Strong experience writing, refining, and managing user stories for software development teams.
• Hands-on experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Proficiency with Agile tools such as Jira, Rally, or similar platforms.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) certification strongly preferred.
• Prior experience in the telecommunications industry is a plus.
