Job Title: Cogito Project Manager

Work Arrangement: Hybrid (3 days onsite, 2 days remote)

Locations: Secaucus, NJ; Norristown, PA; Lenexa, KS; Dallas, TX; Tampa, FL; Schaumburg, IL

Salary Range: $150,000 - $160,000 annually

Overview

The Cogito Project Manager is responsible for leading enterprise analytics initiatives and ensuring the successful coordination of analytics efforts across multiple applications. This role drives strategy, governance, and execution to deliver high-quality reporting solutions aligned with organizational objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead intake, triage, prioritization, and execution of analytics requests
  • Define and implement build, security, and data segmentation strategies
  • Establish and maintain enterprise-wide Cogito security policies
  • Partner with stakeholders to develop and facilitate data governance processes and committees
  • Oversee reporting implementation scope and ensure alignment with business goals
  • Drive analytics initiatives from planning through post-go-live optimization
  • Monitor team productivity, performance, and overall delivery success
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve communication and close workflow gaps
  • Coordinate with training teams to support end-user adoption and satisfaction
  • Maintain processes for analytics catalog usage and request tracking
  • Review system upgrades and manage implementation, communication, and training of updates
  • Support Business Intelligence teams in identifying optimal reporting solutions


Requirements

Required Qualifications
  • Deep expertise with the Cogito Suite
  • Advanced SQL skills, including writing and optimizing complex queries across relational and data warehouse environments (e.g., Clarity, Caboodle)
  • 3-5 years of experience managing teams of analysts or BI professionals
  • Strong ability to translate complex technical data into actionable insights for leadership
  • 7+ years of experience in healthcare IT, analytics, or reporting, with significant Epic exposure


Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with data governance frameworks, security, and data segmentation strategies
  • Background in defining or contributing to enterprise analytics strategy
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform)
  • Knowledge of advanced analytics, machine learning, or predictive modeling
  • Experience working in Agile environments


Education & Certifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
  • Cogito Certification (Reporting Workbench, Radar/Dashboards, SlicerDicer) required

Preferred Certifications:
  • Cogito Project Manager track
  • Cogito Tools Administration
  • SAFe Agile or Scrum certification


Work Environment & Travel
  • Fast-paced, deadline-driven environment requiring accuracy and attention to detail
  • Extended screen time and occasional after-hours or weekend work may be required
  • Domestic travel up to 25%
