Summary

Duties: Primary Responsibilities

∙ Manage inventory of robot hardware, sensors, and lab equipment ∙ Coordinate shipping and receiving of equipment between facilities ∙ Track and maintain lab supplies (cables, mounts, tools, consumables, etc.) ∙ Organize and maintain lab workspace, ensure clean and safe environment ∙ Assist with robot hardware assembly, cable management, and basic mechanical setup ∙ Schedule and coordinate equipment maintenance and repairs ∙ Support researchers with equipment setup and teardown for experiments ∙ Maintain documentation of equipment locations and status ∙ Coordinate with vendors for purchasing and delivery ∙ Ensure compliance with safety protocols.

 

Work Environment

∙ On-site robotics lab with various robot platforms ∙ Interaction with researchers, research engineers, and interns ∙ Fast-paced environment with changing priorities

Skills: Recommend 3-5 years of overall working experience Minimum of 1+ years of relevant working experience

 

Required Qualifications

∙ Bachelor's degree (any field)

∙ Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Outlook) ∙ Strong organizational skills and attention to detail ∙ Comfortable with basic hand tools (screwdrivers, wrenches, etc.) ∙ Ability to lift and move equipment up to 50 lbs ∙ Good communication skills for coordinating

 

Nice to Have

∙ Experience in lab or warehouse operations ∙ Familiarity with inventory management systems ∙ Basic knowledge of electrical safety and mechanical assembly ∙ Experience with packaging and shipping fragile equipment
