QA Test Engineer (Frontend Applications)

Role: QA Test Engineer

Location: Bay Area, California

Duration: Fulltime/Permanent position

Core Responsibilities

• Functional Testing: Execute manual and automated test cases to verify that all frontend features (buttons, forms, navigation, workflows) work as intended.
• Cross-Browser & Cross-Device Compatibility: Ensure the application renders and functions correctly on various browsers (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge) and mobile devices (iOS, Android).
• Visual Regression Testing: Identify UI inconsistencies, such as font mismatches, alignment issues, or broken layouts, comparing the implementation against design mockups (e.g., Figma or Adobe XD).
• API Integration Testing: Validate that the frontend correctly consumes and displays data from backend APIs and handles error codes gracefully.
• Accessibility (a11y) Testing: Verify compliance with WCAG standards to ensure the application is usable for individuals with disabilities (e.g., screen reader compatibility, keyboard navigation).
• Performance Testing: Monitor frontend load times, Core Web Vitals, and resource consumption to ensure a snappy user experience.
• Bug Reporting: Document clear, reproducible bug reports in tools like Jira, including logs, screenshots, and steps to reproduce
