Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather comprehensive requirements
• Develop and execute test plans for firmware and hardware integration on new ECU components
• Ensure robust verification of bootloader, power management, and network communication requirements
• Actively troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues in both manufacturing and operational fleet settings
• Collaborate closely with Vehicle System Engineers to address design issues and propose long-term solutions
• Analyze log data and source code to debug system-level issues
• Engage with cross-functional teams to stay informed about new hardware/software changes and develop appropriate test plans
• Lead initial system bring-up and vehicle-level integration tests
• Innovate by developing early prototypes and test benches for new technologies
Qualifications:
• BS or higher in Electrical/Electronics/Systems/Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• 3-5 years of experience in controller validation/integration
• Proficiency in diagnosing complex controlled systems, including CAN, LIN, or Ethernet network issues
• Skilled in MATLAB, Python, C++, or similar tools.
• Experience with data acquisition equipment, voltage power supply, oscilloscope and sensors
• Familiarity with Jira tools (Structure, Dashboard)
• Solid electronics fundamentals, comfortable working with ECUs and performing basic electrical debugging tasks
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical issues clearly
