Senior Network Engineer – Site Build & Implementation

Job Summary

We are looking for a hands-on Senior Network Engineer with strong experience in new site builds, office expansions, and enterprise network implementation.

The engineer will be responsible for designing, configuring, implementing, testing, and supporting network infrastructure across routing, switching, wireless, firewall, VPN, and data center environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Create Low-Level Designs (LLD) for new office/site deployments and expansions.

• Configure and implement BGP and OSPF routing.

• Design and support dual ISP connectivity, failover, and traffic routing.

• Configure Cisco Nexus switches, including vPC and port channels.

• Deploy and support Cisco Catalyst 9410 or equivalent campus switches.

• Configure and migrate wireless networks using Cisco 9800 Wireless LAN Controllers.

• Support FlexConnect, Local Mode, AP migrations, and guest Wi-Fi segmentation.

• Configure firewall policies and implement site-to-site IPsec VPNs.

• Support F5 load balancers during migration and cutover activities.

• Configure and troubleshoot multicast and Voice QoS.

• Coordinate onsite activities including rack/stack, cabling, circuit turn-up, and carrier coordination.

• Prepare Bill of Materials (BOM) and support hardware/circuit procurement.

• Lead network cutovers, testing, troubleshooting, rollback, and post-implementation validation.

• Create network diagrams, as-built documentation, runbooks, and operational handoff documents.

Required Experience

• 5+ years of hands-on Network Engineering / Network Implementation experience.

• Strong experience with new site builds, office expansions, or large campus deployments.

• Strong hands-on experience with BGP and OSPF.

• Experience implementing dual ISP connectivity and failover.

• Strong experience with Cisco Nexus and vPC.

• Experience with Cisco Catalyst switching, preferably Catalyst 9410.

• Hands-on experience with Cisco 9800 WLC and enterprise wireless deployments.

• Experience configuring firewalls and site-to-site IPsec VPNs.

• Experience with multicast and network QoS.

• Good understanding of carrier circuits, WAN connectivity, redundancy, MTU, and circuit testing.

• Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and cutover experience.

• Comfortable supporting onsite implementation activities when required.

Nice to Have

• F5 Load Balancer experience.

• Cisco ACI experience.

• Network automation or data center automation exposure.
