Job Summary:

We are seeking a senior QA Test Lead to own and drive our end-to-end Defect Management, Triage and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) pipelines. In this role, you will act as the primary owner of the defect lifecycle—leading high-impact triage meetings, managing cross-functional technical teams, and ensuring business validation runs smoothly. Key Responsibilities

·         Direct the end-to-end defect management process across systemic QA and business-facing UAT phases.

·         Lead critical defect triage meetings, managing negotiations between development leads, QA engineers, and Product Owners to prioritize fixes based on business urgency

·         Partner with business analysts and non-technical end-users to organize UAT workflows, scripts, and sign-offs

·         Build and maintain comprehensive defect tracking metrics, release readiness reports, and SLA compliance documentation for executive leadership

·         Enforce defect logging best practices and workflow optimizations within JIRA and HP ALM

Required Skills

·         5+ years of software testing experience with a strong background in a Lead or Manager capacity

·         Deep, specialized expertise in Defect Triage, root cause analysis, and risk assessment

·         Proven experience guiding UAT cycles and collaborating directly with corporate business units

·         Advanced hands-on mastery of JIRA and/or ALM for execution tracking and defect metrics generation

·         Ability to command triage meetings and confidently manage conflicting priorities between dev and business teams
