SQL Developer IV

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Maryland Heights, MO that is seeking a SQL Developer IV.

Role Overview:
We are seeking a SQL Developer to support the development and maintenance of critical data and automation solutions within enterprise billing systems. This role focuses on building and enhancing SQL-based automation that supports the integration and consolidation of billing products and services. The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a high-impact, data-driven environment.

Typical Day/Task Breakdown:
* 60% Coding, focused on developing and enhancing SQL solutions and billing-related automation
* 20% Validation testing, including testing, debugging, and ensuring data accuracy and system stability
* 10% Analysis and requirements review, including reviewing functional documentation, clarifying requirements, and providing technical feedback
* 10% Documentation, including technical documentation and ongoing updates to support maintainability

Key Responsibilities:
* Develop, maintain, and enhance SQL queries, stored procedures, and database objects supporting billing workflows
* Translate business and functional requirements into technical solutions
* Support automation related to billing processes, including service bundling and unbundling
* Test and validate changes to ensure data integrity and reliability
* Create and maintain technical and operational documentation
* Collaborate with development team members to ensure consistent, high-quality delivery

REQUIREMENTS:
* Strong technical working knowledge of SQL
* Working experience with C#
* Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle, including coding, testing, and documentation

Nice to Have:
* Experience with telecommunications billing systems
* Exposure to billing automation or customer enablement workflows

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
