Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Network Engineer with strong expertise in Wireless (WiFi) and SD-WAN technologies to design, implement, and support enterprise network environments. The role involves working across LAN/WAN, wireless infrastructure, and next-generation WAN solutions, ensuring high availability, performance, and security across multi-site deployments.

Key Responsibilities

Network Design & Implementation

Design, deploy, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure across LAN, WAN, and Wireless environments
Implement and support SD-WAN solutions for branch connectivity, traffic optimization, and application-aware routing
Configure and manage core networking components including routers, switches, and controllers
Support network expansion projects, migrations, and upgrades

Wireless (WiFi) Management

Design and deploy enterprise-grade WiFi/Wireless networks (indoor & outdoor)
Perform wireless site surveys, RF planning, and capacity optimization
Configure and troubleshoot wireless controllers, access points, and authentication mechanisms
Ensure seamless roaming, high availability, and performance across wireless networks

SD-WAN & WAN Operations

Deploy and manage SD-WAN platforms (e.g., policy configuration, path selection, failover)
Monitor WAN performance and optimize traffic flows based on application requirements
Troubleshoot WAN and SD-WAN-related issues across distributed environments
Integrate SD-WAN with security and cloud services

Network Monitoring & Troubleshooting

Monitor network health, performance, and availability using standard tools
Troubleshoot L2/L3 network issues, connectivity problems, and performance bottlenecks
Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement preventive measures
Participate in incident response and escalation handling

Security & Compliance

Implement network security best practices across wired and wireless environments
Support firewall, VPN, and network segmentation initiatives
Ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory standards

Documentation & Collaboration

Maintain up-to-date network diagrams, configurations, and operational documentation
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (security, cloud, infrastructure)
Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers

Required Skills & Experience

5+ years of experience in Network Engineering
Strong hands-on experience with:
- Wireless / WiFi technologies (802.11 standards, controllers, RF design)
- SD-WAN solutions (deployment, configuration, troubleshooting)
Solid understanding of:
- Routing & switching (BGP, OSPF, VLANs, STP)
- WAN technologies and network protocols
Experience with enterprise networking vendors (e.g., Cisco, Aruba, Fortinet, etc.)
