Oracle Hyperion Essbase Upgrade Consultant (OCI)
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Oracle Hyperion Essbase professional to support a critical upgrade project from Essbase version 19 to version 21 on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). This is an urgent, customer-facing role requiring strong technical expertise in Essbase, cloud environments, and upgrade/migration processes.
Key Responsibilities:
· Lead and execute the upgrade of Oracle Hyperion Essbase from version 19 to 21.
· Plan, design, and implement migration strategies within Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
· Perform system assessment, compatibility checks, and upgrade readiness analysis.
· Install, configure, and validate Essbase 21 environments on OCI.
· Migrate applications, cubes, data, and security configurations.
· Troubleshoot and resolve issues during upgrade and post-upgrade phases.
· Ensure minimal downtime and maintain system integrity throughout the process.
· Collaborate with customer stakeholders, providing regular updates and technical guidance.
· Document upgrade procedures, architecture, and best practices.
Required Skills & Experience:
· Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Hyperion Essbase (v11/19/21).
· Proven experience in Essbase upgrades/migrations.
· Experience working with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
· Knowledge of Essbase architecture, cubes (BSO/ASO), and performance tuning.
· Familiarity with EPM suite components and integrations.
· Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
· Ability to work under tight deadlines in high-priority environments.
