FHIR Solutions Architect

Primary Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end Solution Architecture for healthcare platforms, ensuring alignment with Optum Health Enterprise Architecture standards, technology strategy, and governance.
• Provide expert Technology Consultation, Application Portfolio Management, and Vendor Management to optimize technology investments.
• Design, integrate, and maintain complex systems utilizing core healthcare standards and protocols, including HL7, FHIR, EDI, DICOM, RIS / PACS, Master Data Management (MDM), Electronic Health Record Systems (Epic is a plus), and Interface Engines.
• Evaluate Al tools and products for enterprise utilization to streamline workflows, automate tasks, and drive continuous improvement.
• Evaluate emerging trends to inform solution design and strategic innovation.
• Design, develop, and deploy strategic solutions, including those that are Al-powered, to address complex business challenges with emphasis on responsible use of data and Al.
• Establish architectural blueprints, reference models, technology landscapes, and transition roadmaps to guide development and capabilities across the ecosystem.
• Partner with product owners, business analysts, and engineering leads to govern design patterns
